Petrus Antonius
Petrus was a 3 year full time Drama student in New York at HB Studios in the mid 70's. From 1980 to '82 he studied with Michael Shurtleff in Los Angeles. Petrus also studied drama at TBC in Sao Paulo - Brazil. He was also a member of the prestigious Roundabout Theatre Ensemble Co. in New York from 1988 to 1992 under Artistic Director and founder Gene Feist. He is fluent in 4 languages and holds a black belt in judo. Stage roles include: Santiago in Anna in the Tropics; Mangiacavallo in The Rose Tattoo; Ira Taub in The Tale of the Allergist's Wife; Phil Romano in That Championship Season; Theseus in A Midsummer Night's Dream; George Aaronow in Glengarry Glen Ross; Captain Horster in An Enemy of the People; Florenz Ziegfeld in Funny Girl; Nunzio in Over the River and Trough the Woods; several characters in Travels with my Aunt; Gaston in Picasso at the Lapin Agile; Judge Brack in Hedda Gabler; Brian in The Shadow Box; King Kreon in Medea; Cot in Hotel Paradiso; Mike in The Memory of Water; Silva Vicarro in 27 Wagons Full of Cotton. Television roles include: Simon & Simon; Knight Rider; Forbidden Love; One Life To Live; Another World; Barbara Mandrell & The Mandrel Sisters Show; Quell & Co.; America's Most Wanted; Ocean Ave. Film roles include: General Martez in The Celestine Prophecy; Father Christopher in The Belly of the Beast; The Landlord in Lonely Hearts; Leonardo in The Lay of The Land.
