the happening project page

A cocktail party.
A summer barbeque.
Saturday in Central Park.
A birthday celebration.
A random day in October.

Apartment + Equestrian + Brooklyn Bridge = a Shiva for a horse named Snowcup that died jumping off the Brooklyn Bridge.

Astor Place + Lemonade + Rush Hour = a mother/daughter team selling lemonade to innocent passers-by in hopes to bail dad out of jail.

What do they all have in common? They are all possibilities for a Happening. The Project's collection of actors are ready to take any location, any event, any guest list, and create a randomly absurd performance that will shock and delight even the most jaded theatergoer. Fit to your needs, the most bare of plot-lines is formed around your space. You approve (or disapprove). We sneak in as guests at your event, mingle, eat some cocktail shrimp and, whenever the time is right, the Happening begins. Doors are slammed. Confessions are spewed. It all escalates until Pink Floyd pops on and the audience, laughing uproariously and dazed and confused, roars with applause.

Forget a murder mystery. Cancel Bozo the Clown. Throw the most Happening party around...
