Erika Villalba
Producing Director, "The Project"

Erika is originally from Miami, Florida and is a graduate of Playwrights Horizons Theater School at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. She is exceedingly happy to be a Producing Director with "The Project !"

Directing credits with ModernEyes include Stuff I Sing in the Shower (The Duplex, NYC) There was a Little Girl (Wilton, CT), Stuff I Auditioned For (Slipper Room, NYC), and The Have a Hart Trap (Wilton, CT).

Previous NYC acting credits include: Suzan Lori Parks’ 365 Days/ 365 Plays with Clubbed Thumb (at The Public Theater and Chasama), Lemonade Girl in ModernEyes’ Happening Crawl, Marcolfa in El Amor de Don Perlimplin (at Repetorio Espanol), Telephone Girl in Machinal (at Access Theater), Madeline in Love @ Central Park (8 Minute Madness Festival, NYC) and Constance in Goodnight Desdemona/Good Morning Juliet (Studio Theater at NYU).

She originated the role of Hermia in Fools in Love, performed at The Wings Theater, Manhattan Ensemble Theater and BAM.
