An adaptation of The Oresteia involving puppetry, masks, juggling and the physical theatre method of Suzuki, A Play on Elemental Consequences was ModernEyes' most ambitious project to date. Played on the stone stage of Summit Rock in the breathtaking beauty of Central Park, this free production brought theatergoers and unsuspecting passerby's a truly original experience. Subject to the elements, we played in scorching heat and light rain showers, in bright sunlight and fading dusk, and neither audience nor company quite new what to expect next.

In Wilton, A Play On... performed on a stage built on top and around of a swimming pool... The Project's attempt to combine the ‘moderneyes-ing' of The Oresteia with our love for performing in odd and untraditional spaces. The audience sat at tables adorned with candles, food and wine provided by our wonderful sponsor, Click Wine Group with Fat Bastard Wines.

We also presented Why I Walk, our second collection of stories by 2007 Susan G. Komen for the Cure Breast Cancer 3-Day Walkers. Always emotional, informative and passionate, these stories truly encapsulated our desire to achieve a world where breast cancer is no longer a life-threatening illness. A large portion of the proceeds of the Connecticut event benefited the Wilton walking team, Walking for Udders, in their 3-day walk in Atlanta.
